R&B singer Usher steps onto the small screen with a role in the Disney TV series "The Famous Jett Jackson." The 20-year-old singer of the 1997 hit "Make Me Wanna" is in Toronto this week filming an episode of the show, according to MTV Online. Usher, whose 1997 album, My Way, was produced by Sean "Puffy" Combs, has been working on his next album in an Atlanta studio, according to his publicist. "The Famous Jett Jackson" premiered on the Disney Channel in 1998 and features Lee Thompson Young as the title character, a teenage action hero. Usher plays a villain named Zander Hall. His episode will air during the show's third season, which begins in the summer.
