ODB Hearing Pushed Back

Rapper Ol' Dirty Bastard allegedly violated probation by getting intoxicated last month.

Rapper Ol' Dirty Bastard's court date for an alleged probation violation has been pushed back to March 10, according to the prosecutor in the case, Marcia Daniel. The Wu-Tang Clan MC was originally scheduled to appear in Los Angeles Superior Court for a hearing Friday (Feb. 25), but his lawyer, Robert Shapiro, asked for more time. ODB has been imprisoned in the drug-rehabilitation facility of Los Angeles County Jail since he allegedly violated probation by getting intoxicated last month. The rapper was restricted from using drugs or drinking, as part of a November plea agreement in which he was convicted of making terrorist threats in one case and wearing body armor in another. "I think it's pretty clear that he's looking at jail time at this point," Daniel said Thursday. "But it's really up to the judge." ODB released his second solo album, N***a Please, in September.
