Destiny's Child Shuffle Lineup

R&B group announces replacements for LaTavia and LeToya.

Two members of R&B group Destiny's Child have left the band, their publicist at Columbia Records said Friday (Feb. 18), and replacements have already been named. Michelle Williams, 19, and Farrah Franklin, 18, will take the places of LaTavia and LeToya, who have not given a reason for their departure. Williams was a back-up singer for Monica, while Franklin appeared as a dancer in the Destiny's Child video for "Bills, Bills, Bills." The new members appear in the group's upcoming video "Say My Name" and will attend the Grammy Awards on Wednesday, where Destiny's Child are up for two awards. The group kicks off its U.S. tour opening for Brian McKnight on March 24 at Madison Square Garden in New York.
