Shock-rocker Marilyn Manson this week released a cover of murderer Charles Manson's "Sick City" for download on his namesake band's Web site (www.marilynmanson.net). The acoustic song will not be included on the band's upcoming album, In the Shadow of the Valley of Death, or in the bandleader's imminent feature film, "Holywood," his publicist, Tresa Redburn, said. Charles Manson, who was sentenced to death in 1971 for the "Helter Skelter" murders of Sharon Tate and Rosemary LaBianca, recorded the song for his 1970 album, "Lie: The Love and Terror Cult." Marilyn Manson's most recent album, the live Last Tour on Earth, was released in November.
