Eminem Album Due In May

Title of The Marshall Mathers LP refers to rapper's birth name.

Eminem is slated to release his third album, The Marshall Mathers LP, in May, according to an Interscope Records spokesperson. The title is a reference to the rapper's birth name. The new CD will feature more rock elements and singing than Eminem's multimillion-selling The Slim Shady LP (1999), according to Jeff Bass, one of the new album's producers. Among the songs recorded for The Marshall Mathers LP are the tentatively titled tracks "Kim," "Amityville," "My Drugs," "Under the Influence," "Kids" and a song produced by mentor and fellow hardcore rapper Dr. Dre called "I Never Knew."
