Michael Abram, the 33-year-old, Liverpool, England, man accused of attempting to murder ex-Beatles singer/guitarist George Harrison and his wife, Olivia, in December, was ordered by a judge on Friday (Feb. 11) to continue his stay at a psychiatric clinic, a representative of Oxford Magistrates Court said. Abram, who did not attend the brief hearing, is due back in court April 7. Police have charged him with breaking into Harrison's mansion outside of London on Dec. 30 and stabbing him in the chest. Police sources have said Abram has a history of mental illness and drug abuse, and British newspapers have reported he developed an obsession with the Beatles in the weeks before the attack.
