Spice Girls Band Together For Lawsuit

Ginger Spice rejoins group to fight legal battle against scooter company.

All five original Spice Girls, including now-solo ex-member Geri Halliwell (a.k.a. Ginger Spice), have banded together to battle an Italian scooter company in British court, Reuters reported. Aprilia SpA, maker of the limited-edition "Spice Sonic" scooter, wants $2.4 million from the pop singers, charging that its promotional campaign with the group was derailed when Halliwell left the group in 1998. The band has countersued, saying Aprilia still owes them $338,000 from the sponsorship deal.
