Singer/songwriter Jill Sobule is scheduled to release her fourth album, Pink Pearl, on April 18. Sobule sings and plays guitar, keyboards and occasional drums on the 12-song LP. The singer, who played three East Coast club dates last week, plans more live shows in March and April. She first gained mainstream recognition for her single "I Kissed a Girl," off her self-titled 1995 album. Her most recent LP was Happy Town (1997).
