Apparently, Cracker frontman David Lowery decided his life was totally boring without his Camper Van Beethoven bandmates, since the two bands are on the road together through Feb. 11. Cracker's latest album is 1998's Gentleman's Blues; a retrospective, Garage d'Or, is tentatively due March 28.

Two Dollar Guitar — once a lo-fi side project for Sonic Youth drummer Steve Shelley and songwriter Tim Foljahn — is now a full-fledged band, touring the States for the next month. TDG's fourth album, Weak Beats and Lame-Ass Rhymes (Jan. 17), features guest appearances by Scarnella's Nels Cline and Carla Bozulich and Spanish singer Christina Rosenvinge.
