The first new album from Chicago rock band Veruca Salt since the departure of co-founder Nina Gordon, Resolver, will be released April 4, according to a band spokesperson. Gordon's former partner, Louise Post, now leads the group. The album will feature the songs "Born Entertainer," "Wet Suit," "Used to Know Her," "Yeah Man" and "Imperfectly." Gordon, whose solo debut is expected in 2000, left the "Seether" group in 1998. Post's new bandmates include drummer Jimmy Madla, guitarist Steve Fitzpatrick and bassist Suzanne Sokel. The band is scheduled to play a New Year's Eve show in Columbus, Ohio.
