System Of A Down To Lead Sno-Core

Winter-sports-inspired outing with Incubus, Mr. Bungle gets on track mid-January in San Diego.

Metal band System of a Down will headline the Sno-Core Tour 2000, an outing

that pairs winter-sports exhibitions such as skiing and snowboarding with

music, according to a release from the group's publicist.

The tour kicks off Jan. 15 at the Del Mar Activities Center in San Diego.

Hard-rock bands Puya, Incubus and Mr. Bungle — featuring former Faith

No More singer Mike Patton — will perform as well. Last year's tour

was headlined by Everclear and featured Redman, DJ Spooky and Soul Coughing.

System of a Down, a politically charged Armenian-American group from Los

Angeles, released their self-titled debut album in June 1998. The LP has

garnered attention for such songs as "P.L.U.C.K." (RealAudio

excerpt) and "War?" (RealAudio
