DMX To Play Free Show

Rapper, Ruff Ryders label cohorts, including the LOX, to perform at Mt. Vernon, N.Y.'s Memorial Stadium.

Rapper DMX and his Ruff Ryders label cohorts, including Eve,

the LOX and Drag-On, will perform at a free show Thursday

(Dec. 23) at Memorial Stadium in Mt. Vernon, N.Y., according to Angelo

Ellerbee, DMX's publicist. The show will be taped and aired on Black

Entertainment Television on Dec. 31. DMX's third album, ... And Then

There Was X, comes out Tuesday (Dec. 21). The show will be the second

appearance the Yonkers, N.Y., native has made just north of New York City

in the past week. Friday he visited with the young residents of Children's

Village, a group home where he lived off and on as a teenager, in Dobbs

Ferry, N.Y. In May, the Ruff Ryders compilation Ruff Ryders: Ryde or

Die Vol. 1, debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart.
