Bono Loses Lyrics For Next U2 Album

They were in bag that has been missing since Monday, band's manager says.

A bag that U2 singer Bono lost in Dublin, Ireland,

Monday (Dec. 6) contains lyrics and other work for U2's next album, the

band's manager, Paul McGuinness, said Wednesday. The bag contained a

laptop computer, papers and notebooks. "It's really important that we

get it back," McGuinness said in a statement. A spokesperson for the

Irish police said a bag matching the description of Bono's property was

reported stolen on Tuesday (Dec. 7). U2's management company is offering

a reward for any information leading to its return. Bono has said the

album, due next year, will return U2 to their guitar-bass-drums rock

roots.
