Korn To Take Issues On Road In Early 2000

Metal band to tour U.S. in winter and spring before moving on to Europe.

Prolific and popular metal band Korn will tour the United States and

Europe beginning early next year.

The outing kicks off on Feb. 19 in Miami, hitting U.S. stops into April.

Korn then move on to Italy, France, Germany and other European countries

through June, according to an itinerary on the band's official website

(www.korn.com) and confirmed by the group's publicist.

Korn's fourth album, Issues, debuted at #1 on the Billboard

200 albums chart last week, selling almost 575,000 copies in its first six days in stores. The disc, which includes the single "Falling Away From Me" (RealAudio excerpt), will drop to #5 on this week's chart, to be published Thursday (Dec. 2). It was released little more than a year after 1998's Follow the Leader.

"It seems like a lot of bands are making albums every five years, instead

of every year," singer Jonathan Davis said last month. "We want to keep

getting the music out to our fans."
