Ex–Jane's Addiction frontman Perry Farrell and Spearhead's Michael Franti will speak during two shows Monday and Tuesday (Nov. 22–23) at the New York club Wetlands Preserve, as part of the spoken-word Spitfire Tour, according to a spokesperson for the outing. Actors Woody Harrelson and Rosie Perez also will appear. Each speaker will present a recitation on a topic of interest; Farrell's is advertised as the Jubilee 2000 campaign for third-world debt cancellation, while Franti's is prison racism. Farrell, in addition, will perform a DJ set, continuing his recent involvement in electronic music.
