Singer/songwriter Meredith Brooks will open for reunited '80s synth-pop duo the Eurythmics at their two announced U.S. shows. Brooks, who released her second album, Deconstruction, in September, and the Eurythmics are scheduled to appear Thursday (Nov. 4) at the Staples Center in Los Angeles and Nov. 9 at Madison Square Garden in New York. The Eurythmics, whose '80s hits included "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)," released a reunion album, Peace, last month. Brooks had a hit with "Bitch," off her 1997 debut, Blurring the Edges.
