Offspring Add Five North American Dates

After returning from a South American trip in mid-November, Southern

California pop-punk group the Offspring will return to North American

stages for five dates in December, according to a publicist for the band.

The tour is scheduled to kick off Dec. 3 at the Max Bell Center in Calgary,

Alberta, and includes shows in Edmonton, Alberta (Dec. 4); Vancouver,

British Columbia (Dec. 7); Seattle (Dec. 8); and Portland, Ore. (Dec. 9).

The band's multiplatinum album Americana (1998) has spawned a

string of radio hits, including "Pretty Fly (For a White Guy)," "The Kids

Aren't Alright" and "Why Don't You Get a Job?"
