Former De la Soul producer Prince Paul will produce It's Very Stimulating, an EP by New Jersey rapper MC Paul Barman due Jan. 4. The rapper, a Brown University graduate whom Prince Paul discovered, is "an intelligent man's Eminem," said Skiz Fernando, an employee of the Brooklyn, N.Y., indie Wordsound Records. Prince Paul most recently released So ... How's Your Girl?, a collaboration with Dan "The Automator" Nakamura issued under the name Handsome Boy Modeling School. Prince Paul is also working on a full-length album with Barman, according to Fernando.
