Cindy Wilson Rejoining B-52's For AIDS Benefit

Ex-B-52's singer Cindy Wilson will rejoin her former band

for an AIDS benefit at the Athens Music Factory in Athens, Ga., on Oct.

7, according to the venue. Proceeds from the show will go toward the

AIDS Coalition of Northeast Georgia. Wilson retired from the eccentric

pop group, which has produced such hits as "Legal Tender" and "Love

Shack," in 1990. Her brother, Ricky Wilson, the B-52's'

original guitarist, died of AIDS in 1985.
