Miami Rave Connected To Death
Miami police are connecting an all-night rave that the Chemical
Brothers headlined to the death of one man and the hospitalization
of 10 others, according to the Miami Herald. The Zen Festival,
held from 7 p.m. Saturday (Sept. 14) to 7 a.m. Sunday (Sept. 16) at the
Coconut Grove Convention Center, was billed as North America's largest
electronica concert. Police reported more than 30 arrests for drugs and
one death from a drug overdose. A drug-policy representative for Gov.
Jeb Bush told the newspaper that Florida is "leading the nation with this
outrageous behavior."
