U2 singer Bono says the band is approaching its next album
"like it's our last." He told MTV News, "I don't want it to be our last
record. I don't expect it to be our last record, but I'm going at it like
it is. I just want to say, 'This is it. This is what a rock band can do.
Here it is. And if there's anything left to say, say it now.' [That]
kind of a record." Daniel Lanois and Brian Eno, who worked
on such U2 albums as The Joshua Tree, are producing the disc, due
next year. (SonicNet is a division of MTV Interactive.)
