Dr. Dre Duets With Snoop On Single

The first single from producer/rapper Dr. Dre's long-awaited

sophomore solo album, The Chronic 2001, will be "Still D.R.E.,"

according to a source at Interscope Records. The song, which is expected

to hit radio within the week, is a duet with former protégé

Snoop Dogg. The LP, tentatively due in October, is Dre's first

full-length solo effort since his multiplatinum 1992 debut, The Chronic.

Snoop Dogg will also join Dre on Sept. 26 when the duo perform in Oahu,

Hawaii, at the Concert on Chronic Island, which will also feature rappers

Eminem, Warren G, Nate Dogg and Xzibit.
