Len Announce First Tour Of The U.S.
Following the success of their single "Steal My Sunshine," Canadian
pop/hip-hop group Len are heading out on their first U.S. tour.
The outing, which will begin Oct. 7 at the Metro/Smart Bar in Chicago,
will hit clubs across the country. It's tentatively scheduled to end
Nov. 6 in Dallas, according to the group's record company, Work/Epic.
"Steal My Sunshine" (RealAudio excerpt),
which mixes a pure pop chorus with rapped verses, is from Len's
major-label debut, You Can't Stop the Bum Rush, released in May.
"All we wanted to do was make clear from beginning to end that all our
influences for the past 20 years are shown on this record," Len's
frontman, The Burger Pimp (born Marc Costanzo), said in a statement.
"No matter what happens in this record — hard sh--, choir sh--,
old-school sh-- — it's all good."
Len, which formed in 1991, previously released two albums and one EP
on their own label.
