Jeff Buckley Live Album Considered

Columbia Records, the late singer/songwriter Jeff Buckley's label, is considering releasing a live album of early Buckley material sometime next year, according to a label spokesperson. Buckley drowned in May 1997, when he was 30, while wading in the Mississippi River near Memphis, Tenn., where he was recording an album. Columbia released the results of those recording sessions, as well as demo recordings, last year in the two-CD set Sketches for My Sweetheart the Drunk.
