Shock-rocker Marilyn Manson entered into a production agreement with New Line Cinema for "Marilyn Manson's Holy Wood," a film that the artist co-wrote and will star in, according to a Manson spokesperson. "I want to show people that true beauty and love can only be obtained by first experiencing the ugliest and most apathetic side of yourself," Manson said in a statement. The studio hopes to begin filming the movie later this year. Manson also plans to supervise the soundtrack to the movie for Interscope Records. Earlier this year he had a brief cameo in the film "Jawbreaker," which featured his girlfriend, Rose McGowan. According to Thursday's Daily Variety, the film will be visually reminiscent of the 1982 feature "Pink Floyd: The Wall."
