Clarence Clemons Solo Gig Likely

Bruce Springsteen sax player expected to play on night off from Boss' tour.

E Street Band saxophone player Clarence Clemons is likely to play the New York club Tramps with his Band of Faith on July 17, a night off from the E Streeters' reunion tour with Bruce Springsteen. While Clemons' manager, Darlene Delano, would not confirm Clemons' appearance, she did say the Florida-based Band of Faith was booked for the gig. "It would make sense that Clarence would be there, and that a couple of his [E Street] friends would be there also," Delano said. Clemons recently finished mixing his first album with the Band of Faith, although the group does not have a label deal.
