Sean Lennon Making 'Alien' Album
Pop songwriter Sean Lennon has begun recording material for his second solo album, the follow-up to last year's Into the Sun. "It's kind of like music from outer space," Lennon said Monday. "It's alien music. I've been getting into computers a lot, doing a lot of experimenting and sampling." He added that he plans to use several collaborators but wouldn't name names -- "because I don't want to jinx it." Lennon, whose father was the late Beatle John Lennon, said he will give the effort his full attention after he finishes touring with his band, Cibo Matto, and he plans to release the album in 2000.
