Kane & Abel Trial Pushed Back
The drug-trafficking trial for identical-twin rappers Kane & Abel
initially scheduled for Tuesday (June 1) has been reset for August 30,
according to their attorney, Richard Westling. The 22-year-old No Limit
MCs (born David and Daniel Garcia) pleaded not guilty last month to
charges of conspiracy to possess cocaine with intent to distribute. The
federal case links them to a drug ring run by New Orleans kingpin and
convicted killer Richard Pena.
