Sonic Youth Give Tracks To NetAid

Art-rockers Sonic Youth won't perform during NetAid, a 24-hour

Internet radio show May 15, but they have sent several unreleased live

recordings to organizers to play during the event, guitarist Lee

Ranaldo said. The show (www.freeb92.net) is designed to demonstrate

solidarity with Radio B92, an independent radio station banned by the

Yugoslav government. Mike Watt and numerous DJs from throughout

the world are slated to perform.
