Marley Album Hits 10 Million

The 1984 Bob Marley compilation Legend recently

passed the 10 million mark in shipments, making it the first reggae

album to qualify for the Recording Industry Association of America's

diamond award. Former Genesis singer/drummer Phil Collins

also reached diamond status recently with his No Jacket Required

(1985). Meanwhile, country trio the Dixie Chicks' Wide Open

Spaces hit the 5 million mark and pop-soulsters TLC notched

their eighth gold single (500,000 copies shipped) with "No Scrubs." Only

four groups (as opposed to solo artists) in history have more gold

singles than TLC: The Beatles, the Bee Gees, Boyz II

Men and Creedence Clearwater Revival.
