Rapper Slick Rick and beat-box pioneer Doug E. Fresh, who
collaborated on Doug E. Fresh and the Get Fresh Crew's "La-Di-Da-Di"
and "The Show" in the mid-'80s, reunited to record "The Show Part II"
last week in New York, according to Def Jam Recordings publicist Heidi
Schussler. They decided to do the session after performing together last
month at the House of Blues in Los Angeles, Schussler said. The cut will
be included on Slick Rick's The Art of Storytelling, the release
of which has been pushed back to May 25 to allow time to mix the song.
