Smokey Robinson Back On Motown

R&B great Smokey Robinson is returning to the famed Motown label

after an eight-year absence and will release an album this summer,

according to spokesperson Todd Brodginski. The singer of such hits as

"Shop Around" and "I Second That Emotion" will collaborate on the new

disc with Motown founder and producer Berry Gordy and modern R&B

singer Brian McKnight. In addition to prepping new material,

Robinson is gearing up to sing the national anthem at Saturday's (April

10) New York Yankees baseball game.
