R&B Stars Honor Marvin Gaye

Marvin Gaye, Erykah Badu, D'Angelo, Allman Brothers Band, Sleater-Kinney, Lost Boyz, Oasis, Insane Clown Posse, Bruce Springsteen...

Contemporary soul stars Erykah Badu and D'Angelo will

sing a duet of "Precious Love" for Motown Records' upcoming Marvin Gaye

tribute album, Marvin Is 60. The collection, due June 8, also

will feature performances from vocalists Montell Jordan, Brian

McKnight, Jon B and Chico DeBarge. Gaye's decades-spanning

career ended when he was killed by his father during an argument in 1984.

The singer's many hits ranged from 1965's "How Sweet it Is (To Be Loved

by You)" to 1982's "Sexual Healing." April 2 would have been Gaye's

60th birthday.
