Injury Postpones Sleater-Kinney Tour

Sleater-Kinney have postponed a bevy of shows because of a back

injury suffered by guitarist Carrie Brownstein, according to

Maggie Vail, publicist for Kill Rock Stars Records. Brownstein, who had

strained her back once before, reinjured it while playing recently,

prompting a doctor to order her to bed for several weeks, Vail said.

Eight East Coast concerts, originally scheduled for March 15-22, have

been rescheduled for May 23-June 1; it is not yet known whether dates in

the Midwest will be postponed or canceled outright.
