Holger Czukay, one-time bassist with the influential experimental group Can, is set to release the solo album Good Morning Story (Tone Casualties) June 22. In a statement, Czukay -- one of the first musicians to use samples -- described the disc as "a collection of songs and a test journey through some forged ethno worlds." Former Can mates Irmin Schmidt, Jaki Liebezeit and Michael Karoli appear on the album, and several pieces are based on Can samples.
