The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion plans to release a new EP later

this year. The seven-song EP, to be issued by K Records, will include

five tracks of the band playing backup for Dub Narcotic Sound

System singer, Calvin Johnson. Jon Spencer himself

sings on two other tracks. While no formal release date has been set,

representatives said it should be out around September.
