Producers Tom Rothrock and Rob Schnapf

(Beck, Elliott Smith) have finished mixing

singer/songwriter Richard Thompson's next album. The 14-song

disc, Mock Tudor, is slated for a May release, according to

Rothrock. Thompson's last album, Industry (1997), was a folk

collaboration with upright bassist Danny Thompson (who is

unrelated to Richard).
