Hearing Planned For Concert-Warning Bill

Michigan legislator Dale Shugars, R-21st District -- who recently introduced a bill into the state Senate to apply parental-warning stickers to concert tickets and advertising -- is hoping to organize a public hearing on the measure within the next month, according to spokesperson Mark Lemoine. The meeting likely would take place in Kalamazoo, home of the Kalamazoo Coalition for the Protection of Children and Families, a group that has petitioned against shock rocker Marilyn Manson. Manson is scheduled to perform April 21 at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Mich., 50 miles from Kalamazoo.
