Hip-hop hero KRS-One (born Lawrence "Kris" Parker) will launch the first leg of
a two-part tour in mid-March in support of his forthcoming album, Maximum
Strength. On Monday (Feb. 8), tour manager Jeremy Larner confirmed the first 10
dates, which will take the rapper up the West Coast from San Diego to Portland, Ore.
Several more dates will be announced soon. KRS-One plans to have covered most of
the country by the time the tour closes in mid-May.
