Cash, Robinson To Get Lifetime Grammys

Country singer/songwriter Johnny Cash, R&B singer/songwriter Smokey Robinson, crooner Mel Tormé, and the late soul singers Otis Redding and Sam Cooke will receive lifetime-achievement Grammy Awards next month, the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences has announced. Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller, who wrote many of Elvis Presley's hits, will be honored with a non-performing Grammy. The Grammy ceremony will be held Feb. 24.
