Cranberries Planning Spring Tour

Though no release date has been set for the Cranberries' forthcoming album,

Bury the Hatchet, the Irish pop band will begin rehearsals next week for an

upcoming worldwide tour. The tour likely will kick off in late March or early April,

according to a posting by drummer Fergal Lawler on the band's official website.

The band's fourth album -- which will feature a song called "Promises" -- is the follow-up

to its 1996 release, To the Faithful Departed. The Cranberries recently played

their first show together in more than two years at the Nobel Peace Prize concert in Oslo.
