Jakob Dylan of chart-topping pop-rockers the Wallflowers was among

the attendees at singer/songwriter Joe Henry's hometown gig at the Mint in Los

Angeles on Friday night. Henry previewed songs from his forthcoming album,

Fuse, which includes a collaboration with Dylan on "Skin & Teeth" and

appearances by the Wallflowers' keyboardist Rami Jaffee and bassist Greg

Richling. The songs from Fuse continue in a similar vein as that LP's

predecessor, 1996's Trampoline, and feature an edgier, more exploratory

country-rock sound than his earlier tunes. Fuse is set for a March 9 release.
