Following his 50th Birthday Bash and Wild Game Dinner on Dec. 17, Motor City Madman Ted Nugent will put his dual career as musician and radio show host for Detroit's WWBR on hold for one year. Nugent's final radio show was Nov. 25. The birthday celebration will include a celebrity Nugent roast and a menu consisting of pheasant pot pie, buffalo sausage and kraut, alligator alfredo, venison mostaccioli and garlic mashed potatoes with raccoon gravy. Doug Banker, Nugent's manager, said the rocker's decision to pause his career caught him by surprise. "Ted called me and said, 'Don't phone me for at least a year,' " Banker said. "I was as surprised as anyone else."
