Banyan Finish Second Album

Banyan, the experimental group led by former Jane's Addiction and Porno For Pyros drummer Stephen Perkins, have finished recording their second album, Any Time At All (Feb. 23), according to CyberOctave Records spokesman Kenny Nemes. The album features help from previous Banyan collaborators Mike Watt (bass) and Nels Cline, as well as Red Hot Chili Peppers members Flea (bass) and John Fusciente (guitar). Also joining Perkins this time out are bassist Rob Wasserman (Lou Reed, Bob Weir) and clarinet player Dave Aaron, who has worked as an engineer with rapper Snoop Dogg.
