Banyan Finish Second Album

Banyan, the experimental group led by former Jane's Addiction and Porno For Pyros drummer Stephen Perkins, have finished their second album, Any Time At All, according to Kenny Nemes, CyberOctave Records spokesman. The disc, due Feb. 23, features help from Mike Watt (bass) and Nels Cline (guitar) -- both of whom played on the first Banyan album -- as well as Red Hot Chili Peppers Flea (bass) and John Frusciante (guitar). Also joining Perkins this time out were bassist Rob Wasserman (Lou Reed, Bob Weir) and clarinet player Dave Aaron, who has worked as an engineer with rapper Snoop Dogg.
