Snoop Pairs With Rage On "Snoop Bounce" Remake

Tha Doggfather tracks gets a makeover.

Snoop Doggy Dogg, who has expressed interest in working with

everybody from controversy lightning rod Marilyn Manson to Nine-Inch Nail's

Trent Reznor, has actually consummated one of his rock/rap wishes by recording

a track with the members of Rage Against the Machine.

The track, a remake

of "Snoop Bounce," from his Tha Doggfather album, features the musical

accompaniment of the Rage crew (minus singer Zack de la Rocha) and will show up

on a still-untitled EP expected around mid-summer.

Snoop also teams up

with Tony! Toni! Tone! singer Rapheal Sadiq, Tha Dogg Pound's Daz and the LBC

Crew's Badass on "Midnight Love," and rapper Battlecat on the Biz Markie nugget

remix of "The Vapors." Suppafly, who produced many of the tracks on

Doggfather, lays his hands on "Snoops Upside Your Head," and producer

Timberland (Ginuwine) does his trip on the "Doggfather Remix."

Death Row

has not yet announced the street date for the EP.

Snoop is currently

assembling the live band he'll be taking on the road for his stint at this

summer's Lollapalooza festival.
