ENIT Festival Running Into A Snag Or Two

It's hard to be a revolutionary.

Perry Farrell's adventurous ENIT festival is running into

trouble. Farrell wants the shows to take place in outdoor settings, and to run

through the night. We learned yesterday that a Raleigh, North Carolina,

show has

been canceled, and the number of festival dates may be scaled back. A Denver

show that was never announced has been canned. The tour was to have begun in

Cleveland, Ohio on August 9th. That show, which remains the tour opener,

is now

scheduled for August 14. Tickets are currently on sale for a total of five

shows.

As it stands now, according to the TicketMaster web site, the

festival will consist of five dates:

August 14; Cleveland, OH; The Meadows

(moved from 8-9)

August 15; Pittsburgh, PA; Star Lake

Amphitheater

August 17; Holmdel, NJ; Garden State Arts Center

August

18; Camden, NJ; Entertainment Center

August 20; Boston, MA; Great

Woods
