Radio ATN, featuring rock 'n' roll programming created

exclusively for the Internet, debuted in the

HREF="/ATN/issues/2.02/">February issue (2.02) of Addicted To Noise with a

30 minute special, "Up Close with the Smashing Pumpkins." In the coming weeks,

additional Radio ATN programming will also feature a weekly half-hour new music

program, "The Bonnie Simmons Show," by, you guessed it, legendary San Francisco

radio personality Bonnie Simmons, who, along with co-producing the very cool

SFO3 music convention, is now Radio ATN's program director. Between 1969 and

1978 Simmons worked as a program director, music director, operations manager

and DJ at Tom Donahue's pioneering underground FM rock station, KSAN. She has a

unique understanding of the creative possibilities of the radio medium, which

she brings to Radio ATN. Last but not least, in March Radio ATN will begin

"airing" a weekly show by our very special correspondent. Don't miss "Joey

Ramone's Radio Coup," a 30 minute joyride with the Ramones' notorious

singer/songwriter. Joey will play the music of new artists that he's personally

excited about. All Radio ATN programming will make use of RealAudio, which

means it plays in real time--no waiting for downloads. To get to Radio ATN,

simply go to the lo-fi "Table of Contents" and use the handy Radio ATN link. In

this issue you'll also find RealAudio sound samples featured in our latest

album reviews ("44.1 kHz") and

in Part 2 of the Alice In Chains interview.
