Iggy and Johnny Depp Can Now Be Seen Down Under

Sex act at gunpoint? Leave it to Iggy.

The day after Christmas Australia's Film and Literature

Board of Review overturned their earlier decision banning the commercial

release of Dead Man a quirky black and white Western starring Johnny

Depp and Iggy Pop according to a report in Variety. The decision was

overturned on appeal, and it couldn't make director/writer Jim Jarmusch

happier, since he'd earlier been refused an Australian classification by the

Office of Film and Literature Classification, after censors took umbrage at one

scene which depicted a woman being forced to perform a sex act at gun point. No

word which star had to force his way in. Our bets are on

Pop.
