Say It's Your Birthday: Berlin's Terri Nunn

Today is the birthday of Terri Nunn, lead singer of the Los

Angeles-based synth-pop group made up of Nunn, John Crawford, David

Diamond, Matt Reid, Ric Olsen, and Rob Brill. Berlin topped the charts

in 1986 with "Take My Breath Away," and were the stars of Steve

Wozniak's US festival, where Nunn went on stage without any underwear.

Obviously a traumatic event for Nunn, who left the band in 1987 to

pursue a solo career and has never been heard of since.

It is also the

birthday of Bill Hayes, who had a number one record in 1955 with "The

Ballad Of Davy Crockett."
